Dutch Delight Reproduction Quilt Update and a Rant about Tedious Things

My reproduction of Dutch Delight (inspired by Maureen Crawford) is finally shaping up. It is ready for its border.

I realize now that it is the leaf sashing that really makes this quilt. The fabric is just stunning—good thing, I have a lot of it now!

I of course managed to attach the sashing with the leaves pointed the wrong way on some rows a couple of times. I am enjoying the finished product, but I have to admit that I found the stack and whack process a bit tedious.

Speaking of tedious—this is my first quilt that uses an on-point setting. Yet another thing I don’t love, but, I do think the result was worth it.
