A Knitting Finish: Stranded Colorwork Vest
I actually finished it! It is not perfect, but I’m quite pleased that I was able to finish it up right before Christmas. DK weight yarn sure helped that process! As you can see from the picture, I had issues with centering the pattern and matching the patterns at teh shoulders. But, it is my first attempt at stranded colorwork knitting, it is quite striking, and it is keeping me warm in my “home office”! For others who are working on colorwork pieces, blocking is everything. I was concerned about my tension as I was knitting, but, all the lumps and bumps came out in the blocking. So happy I just stuck with it!
